A Day of Writing
Well today I woke up with a story to tell and I think that the story has been coming a little at a time. I wrote today somethings pretty amazing and I am happy with it. I know that it sounds crazy but that is one of my greatest positives today. I wrote a chapter for my book. The book I have worked on for about a year and yes it is coming along. I hope to have it finished and get it published so the world can see a world I have seen for a long time. I know this is not my big book series but I am just as excited about this as I am about the other. I have learned that I have a huge love of writing and I really should do more of it. I need to focus on more then just internet silliness but I cant help but get caught up in it. Today was a good day and I hope to have more to come. Well I am attempting to get up earlier so I am going to go to bed. Goodnight world and I will see you tomorrow. Oh here is my favorite part of the chapter.
He moved closer to me our noses almost touching when I felt his breath on my lips. “I would face death ten times over just to keep you in my life. You know something I always felt like this huge piece of my life was missing. I had no idea what it could possibly be until the day you walked into it. I don’t think that my heart would have ever been complete if I would have let you leave that night and I wouldn’t have followed you.”

Just remain positive
Its strange how friendship works, and possibly annoyed with it. I just wish that friends whether they like it or not should support you. I am glad that they love me and feel like life is going to be different without me here but they don't see me that often anyways. Sometimes I wonder if they are like this because they will miss me or if they want to continue using me so that their rent gets paid or they have rides or because they can count on me doing my job. Don't get me wrong but you know what this isn't easy for me either but it is everything I need and if I don't go now I will never leave. I have another job interview tomorrow and I'm nervous cause I don't know what to do after this by the off chance this job doesn't come through. I don't what else to do but stay positive that I will get there. This sure is an experience that I have never gone through and can't wait to see what else lies ahead of me. Here is to a new path and may I make it through it safely. May the experience be with you all.

Day 3
Well here it is september 3rd and let's say it has been an interesting few days already. I have been failing about getting my video up but I am sure I will get it up soon enough. I had a huge talk with my brother last night and I am sure that even though I wish he was really accepting this move of mine he really is trying to hide the pain of it all. I know that by the end of October I will be moved to Salt Lake and that is going to be a huge journey. I am ready for it and I hope I don't fail. Well I will need to go back to work. See you soon -Liz
Wednesday, September 1, 2010
Well here it is September 1st and its been a while. - am in the process of changing my life and moving to a place I have wanted to be in for a long time. I am beginning an experiment of documenting life through words, pictures, videos and songs. I want to in a year have a way to look back and see where I came from and see where each of my choices have brought me. I'm excited about this because I know I have been wanting to do this for a long time. So here is to changing cause I choose it not cause I am being forced to. I hope that everyone who ever you are sees this as a positive and let's see where this journey takes me. Thanks Liz

A Good Day
Today has been a good day, after what seemed to be a 2 month period of bad days. Now I don't mean that they were all bad it just seemed like all the good was being overseen by all the bad that had taken over. I have forgotten what it was like to be happy and in control. My car broke down a few days ago and I believed that was going to be the end of me. But today changed that for me, I believe I can beat this bad day thing and look only at the good things. I know bad will still come around but if I can remember that there is so many good things happening then that will make the bad seem like nothing. Anyway my goal for myself is to start writing in my Journal and work towards the good and focus on that and use the bad as something to learn from. Ok good luck to me and Good luck to all of you out there. LIZ

Chapter 1
The past meets present
“You have all been found guilty of Witchcraft, any last words.” said the Judge wearing a black robe and a tattered used wig that had once belonged to the previous judge. A group of people were standing around, and behind him observing what had seemed like a normal routine of executions of those who had been found guilty of witchcraft. Instead of the normal hangings the Judge recently from England had decided to go with their traditions of testing the theory of them being a witch. Ever since word had come from Salem about issues of Witchcraft people were being accused constantly, many of the accused were set free by paying the judge off these would be the last to be tried as witches. There was large man standing in the boat behind the accused who had tied ropes around their ankles and wrists.
The first to speak was a man who was smaller then that of the executioner, his clothing was covered in dirt and his hair was messy. He looked fragile as if he had not eaten in quite some time. He began to speak and you could tell by his tone he was not only upset but he was scared. “All I have to say is that I die an innocent man and along with me my wife who would never harm a soul. You accused us wrongly but I will have nothing to fear,” he finished then the large man tired a gag around his face to shut him up.
Next to him was his wife who looked as scared as he sounded was crying and shaking her head. Her hair blonde hair was tied behind her head. She looked up before speaking, “I have nothing to say.” She bowed her head, then the man gagged her.
The last to speak was a young woman, who appeared to be trying to stay brave for the people who were observing the events. She looked to a group of people who were crying and yelling at her. She spoke to them first stating that she loved them and would never leave them. The wind began to blow her auburn shoulder length hair around, her eyes began to tear and turn red. She spoke again to the others watching, “all I wish to say is to ask that the good people remember who I truly was and that you take care of my brothers, please. I have nothing else to say to those who believe that I am guilty of what I was charged with for none of you shall listen.” She then was gagged.
The Judge began to laugh and then spoke with a high voice “The time has come for us to follow through with the trials, if any of them are to live through this there will be other actions to be taken. May God have mercy on your souls.” He raised his hand then quickly dropped it as a signal to push them all into the icy water. The three people dropped quickly and disappeared from sight. The wind began to pick up and get out of control. They all waited for what seemed to be hours but was only short period of time.
Black clouds were filling the sky and rain began to fall from above. The sky began to make large thunderous noises and then a lightning bolt ejected from the clouds sending most of the observers running toward their homes. The man who had been in the boat had finally made it to shore and walked toward the Judge.
“Sir, how long do you wish us to wait before retrieving the bodies?” the man had asked joining him.
“Godric, I think that you should wait until morning, if there is bodies left you may place them in the graveyard.” He laughed and then signaled to those who were still waiting around that the events were over. He walked as if he was proud of what had just happened.
The morning after brought the man known as Godric to the lake to collect the bodies of the three. He went out in the boat to retrieve the bodies that had been tossed into the water like they had been nothing to anyone. When Godric returned he had only had two bodies on the wagon. He met up with the Judge to inform him of the missing body.
The Judge acted as if the information was nothing important as he stated to him that he was sure there was nothing to worry about no one can hold their breath for that long.”
“Yes sir, I will take care of these and be on my way if there is nothing else that you may need of me.”
“Good, good many thanks Godric. I have no further need of you. I am off to the church.” He said walking off toward the pub.
“I am so sorry that you will never understand how much you have impacted the peoples lives here in the worst way.” Godric said walking toward the graveyard. The graveyard was small and filled with the few people who had been accused as witches. The poor souls that had been placed here were badly treated by those who had once called them friends. As he arrived someone was standing there in a dark cloak and the face was covered.
“Hello child I am glad to see you are awake and ready to learn, are you feeling well?”
The figure nodded then pointed to the bodies on the wagon.
“Do not worry I am going to take care of them before we leave. Have you finished everything you needed to so that we may leave. It shall be a long time before our return to this place.”
The figure once again nodded.
“Good, you can wait over there while I take care of this if you wish.”
The figure shook its head then continued to stand in the same place. They watched as Godric was gently burying the two bodies, then as he placed to simple markers on top. After he moved away the figure walked over and placed a flower on top of each of the new graves.
“The time has come to leave my task is done. I know that this is hard for you but you will soon understand why this all happened I promise.” Godric said walking up to the figure and reaching out to grab their hand. The hooded figures hand crept from beneath the cloth showing an alabaster hand with a small inked heart on its wrist and a silver band wrapped around the finger. The figure nodded then grabbed his hand intertwining their fingers. The figure looked down at their hand then up to look Godric in the face.
“Do not worry the color will come back to you soon, for you have had to die you will come back to looking as you need to.”
The figure nodded again and then looked forward as Godric waved his free hand and a portal showed up in front of them. “Don’t worry this is a good place we are going to, you will like it there.” He lead the figure in then the light, and as the light began to dwindle the figure turned around to look back at the life that they would be leaving. Beneath the hood you could see two eyes glowing with a bluish green tone, then turned to disappear inside of the light.
…………
The sun was beginning to illuminate the room as it began to rise in the sky outside. On the nightstand besides the bed an alarm clock read 6:59am and besides the clock was a picture of a young boy with two older people with crazy Hawaiian shirts and hats. The time on the clock changed to 7:00am and a loud annoying noise began coming out of the little demonic box.
“Oh shut up” I yelled at the clock it couldn’t be time to get up already. I began to swat at the clock in hopes I would hit the snooze button. Finally I hit the button yes!! quiet once again. I was going to use the next ten minutes for a little more sleep, another sound filled the room. “No this can’t be happening.” I began searching the floor for my cell phone. Before finding it the ringing stopped but quickly began again. Where did it go oh yeah I remember I put it under my pillow.
I quickly answered it, the sound of an older woman‘s voice filled the room as she was reminding me of what time is was, I responded to her quickly. “Hello Gran. Yes I was awake, thanks for thinking about me but I am a 28 yr old who can take care of himself. I am sorry I don’t mean to be mean I know you are just trying to help me. I love you too Gran I will talk to you later I am running late. Yes I do love you ok bye.” I hung up and pushed the covers away from me. I stretched then sat up before standing . I walked into the bath room and looked into the mirror.
There I was a regular Joe, my dark brown hair was a ruffled mess and my hazel eyes looked very tired. I looked at my tan skin remembering when I was younger hoping to find manly hairs upon it and yet here I was at 28 still hairless. I really didn’t care about that as much I was more worried about other things such as a job and the woman I would someday marry. I cleaned up from my nights rest by combing my hair and styling it and placing the contacts in my eyes so that I could see.
I really hated Mondays and not only was it Monday it was way to sunny out there for what time it was. Why couldn’t the sun have waited a few more hours before waking the world up. I finished cleaning myself up and got dressed in my work outfit. The orange and blue shirt brought the blue in my eyes out my Gran had once stated to me. I stood back in front of the mirror and started talking to myself, trying to convince myself today would go well. “Its just another Monday and I am able to make it through. I am way to smart for this job but until I figure out what I want to do I will just have to take it one day at a time.”
I exited my bathroom and walked through the hallway checking off all the things I was going to need today. All that was left was to gather my bag and wallet oh and yes my Ipod I would need it to get through my day. Where did I put my Ipod, I remember putting the newest album from Nickleback on there then I took it to the living room. I walked into the living room looking on the couch then I went to the TV, there on top was my Ipod and earphones. I quickly glance at the clock to see that I was doing good on time. I walked into the kitchen to grab some granola bars to eat on my bus ride to work. I grabbed my bag, and my phone before turning on my Ipod and placing the earphones in my ears to hear Nickleback playing. I grabbed my keys and wallet before looking at the calendar and marking of September 29th 2012. I stood there in disbelief that this year was quickly coming to a close, then I opened the door locked it then shut it swiftly. Making my way down the stairs to exit the apartment building I felt my phone begin to vibrate in my pocket. I look down to see the number and realize that it was the girl I had been hanging out with for the last month.
“Well hello lovely lady, how are you today? I am doing good also, would you want to have lunch today. Oh ok well I will call you when I am on my lunch break. Ok I will talk to you later yep bye.” Girls are hard to understand one minute they seem into you the next they act all weird. It had been a good first couple of weeks but recently she was beginning to act uninterested. I looked at my cell phone before closing it and placing it back in to my jean pocket.
In the process of putting my earphone back into my ear I bumped into Mr. Enders and his little dog. I backed up and then quickly apologized to him “Oh I am sorry, Mr. Enders I was not paying enough attention.”
Mr. Enders was a middle aged man who was a into jogging and keeping his health along with the health of his dog. Mr. Enders believed that looking good would get all the ladies which is why I was guessing he had gotten the hair transplant to cover he exceeding hairline.
“Its fine Henry I can understand since you were up late last night, how did your performance go?”
“It went thanks for asking, but I need to go I will talk to you later about it ok.”
“Sounds good I will talk to you later Henry have a good day at work” Mr. Enders said stepping into the elevator.
I turned around and quickened my pace to make it to the bus stop on time. I made it to the stop just before the bus showed up. I loved the public transportation here in Portland Oregon. It ran better for me here then it ever did for me in New York. I had lived in New York City for 5 years while I went to school to become a doctor but I had returned to Portland 8 months ago to help assist my grandparents after my grandfather had fallen ill. I had quickly changed my mind about becoming a doctor as I watched my Grandfather slip closer to death and there was nothing I could do about it nor could the doctors. He had died three months after my arrival back in to Portland, and right before his passing he informed me to live my life to the fullest for I only had one. After his passing I had gotten a job at a local computer repair store, that a friend of mine from high school had started up. He was most of the reason I had been good with computers. I had lived in Portland from the age of 8 to 23 with my grandparents since my parents accidental car crash in Boston.
I listened to my Nickleback list on my Ipod for the next 45 minutes until I arrived at the stop closest to the repair shop. It was not the most dignified job but it was paying the bills that I had, and I liked the company I was in most of the time. I walked into the shop to notice the other four guys who worked there already there setting up.
“Right on time Henry” the one at the counter said
“Thanks Jet” I responded
Jet had been my high school buddy who had gotten me into working on computers. Jet was typically described as the nerdy guy, being tall and thin wearing his black rimmed glasses and his messed up black hair. He didn’t mind being the one known as the nerd he had once stated, cause he was going to be the one going back to the high school to show them how well nerds do. He had been right when we went back to the high school reunion in June he was one the most successful out of our class. Not only that but he had brought his new girlfriend who was catching the eye of most of the guys there but you could tell they only had eyes for each other.
“It makes me happy to see my employees excited to be at work and to be on time.” Jet said.
“Yes it is all about me being excited to be here.” I said sounding slightly annoyed.
“We are all proud of you since you were out so late with your band last night” another of the guys said.
“Oh yeah how did your performance go Henry did you totally rock the place out.” the other one said.
“One never speak like that again Vince and second it went ok, I wont be quitting my day job any time soon. John I was out late what were you doing sitting at home plotting how you would make peoples days lousy.”
The other guys laughed and then continued with the stuff they were doing. I walked passed them all and went into the break room to put my stuff into my locker. I signed in and then placed my name tag onto my shirt and prepared myself for the next 4 hours before my lunch break.
The morning went quickly with the amount of customers who came in to collect their computers or to bring them into be fixed. When 12:30 came around I was ready to get out of there so I could have a moment for myself.
“Jet, I am getting out of here to go have lunch I will be back in 45. I have my cell phone on me if you need anything from me ok.” I said as I began walking to the door.
“Yeah see you in a little bit” Jet said as if he had not even been paying attention while he was playing games on his computer.
I started to dial the number of the girl, but my phone began to ring and it was her.
“Well hello, I was just in the process of calling you, want to have lunch? No, no I understand, yes of course we can be friends I never wanted anything else from this. Oh ok well I will talk to you later bye.” Why are girls so hard to understand I thought to myself as I threw the phone into my bag and place my Iwpod earphones into my ears and I headed to the closest fast food restaurant. After getting my lunch I sat at the table and ate while listening to my shuffle list. After 35 minutes I got up threw my garbage away and began to walk back to the shop. It hadn’t taken me long to get back to the shop, so with the remaining time I had I sat outside to enjoy the last warmth of the sun of fall before the cold rain and snow would return and take over for winter. I decided that I should get back to work, so I stood to enter the store. On the way back in I bumped into someone coming out. I had been very unobservant today.
I apologized quickly “I am so sorry I seem to be bumping into everyone today. Please forgive me I really don’t mean to keep doing it.” I looked at the ground to see that both of our Ipods had fallen to the ground, I leaned down to pick them up when I noticed the other person leaning over to pick them up too. When I stood up I thought I had recognized the woman I had bumped into. She was smiling as she grabbed one of the Ipods from my hand.
“Its ok I was not paying that much of attention myself. I will forgive you if you forgive me.” She said smiling.
I was not paying much attention to what she was saying, all I seemed to care about was her eyes that seemed so kind. She seemed so familiar to me she had shoulder length light brown hair and her eyes seemed a the very color of my hazel, I continued to stare at her until she brought me out of my trance like state.
“Is there something on my face?” she asked with a light laugh.
“Oh no it looks fine, I mean sorry I was just taken back by your eyes.”
“Thanks I guess, well I better go maybe I will see you again sometime.”
“Yeah maybe” I responded as she walked away putting her earphones in her ears.
I walked in to the store to see the guys all staring in my direction.
“Nice going Henry did you scare her off too.” John said laughing.
“Yes that is exactly what I did John.” I said trying to ignore him
I placed my Ipod on to the counter and reached around to grab my name tag, when I heard someone enter the store. I turned around to see the same woman I had just bumped into.
“Sorry I don’t mean to interrupt, but I’m afraid I grabbed the wrong Ipod.”
“What do you mean the wrong Ipod?” I looked at the one I had placed on the counter and on the back there was a sticker that indicated it was not mine. “Oh I guess you are right, I am sorry for bumping into you.”
“It is not your fault I was the one who grabbed without looking. By the way you have some really great songs on your play list. I am Tara by the way its nice to meet you” she looked at my name tag then back to my face “Henry” she said smiling,
“Well thanks Tara its nice to meet you too.” I said unsure on how I should react to her talking to me. Before I was able to respond my phone went off. “Just one second I need to answer this.”
She nodded as I pick up the phone and answered. “Hey Gran what is up. Tonight I cant I have band practice but I am free all day tomorrow. I know I miss hanging out with you too but I really need to practice. I will come over tomorrow I promise. I love you Gran I will talk to you later ok bye.” I hung up and then looked to Tara she seemed to be frowning a bit. “Are you ok?”
“Yeah, I just never mind.”
“What” I asked.
“I don’t want to butt in but I think that you should not take for granted your time you could have with your family. You never know when you could miss out on saying goodbye or just being there.”
“I know you are right I will try to go see her tonight.” I said smiling
“I hope you try real hard, well I better go I have people to go see. I do hope that I get to see you again Henry. I will see you later Jet be careful ok.”
“I will be Tara don’t worry I have Henry to keep me in check, and I will make sure Henry does goes to see his Gran.”
“Thanks” she said as she walked out the door.
“How do you know her Jet?” I said with a look.
“I have had the opportunity to know her for a quite some time she is a great girl.” Jet said with a smile.
“Hey Jet is she an ex girlfriend or just someone you couldn’t get in high school.” John said laughing.
“Neither all I can say is that she changed my life and we have been good friends ever since. I met my fiancée through her.”
“Wait fiancée when did that happen Jet.” I asked surprised I knew he was dating but I didn’t know it was that serious.
“I asked Laney last night and she said yes. I guess that is why I have been in a great mood all day.” Jet said with a large smile.
“Congrats man, I wouldn’t have been such a downer if I would have known I apologize Jet.” I felt like such an idiot.
“No need to apologize Henry, I figured you were just having a bad day. I now know maybe I should share the good news so we can all be happy.”
“Jet like I care your girlfriend said yes” John spoke sounded really annoyed as he walked to the back room.
“Don’t pay attention to him Jet we are excited for you.” I responded when I saw how Jet was getting upset about what John had said.
“Don’t worry, he just doesn’t know what happiness is he is a lonely old man. Henry I know that you said you were busy but do you want to bring your Gran to my house and we can celebrate I have not seen her in a while. It would awesome for Laney to meet the woman who was there for me as the Grandma I needed.”
“I really cant tonight Jet but we should do it soon.”
Jet didn’t say anything after that he just seemed sad as he continued his work. The last few hours passed quickly as we worked on all of the paperwork and computers we had. When the clock finally read 5:15 we locked the doors and all headed in our own directions. I caught the bus to head back home to grab my guitar and to wait for the guys to pick me up to go to our practice. While waiting for the guys I decided to eat some cold slices of pizza for dinner.
“Hey Henry push the button I need to use the bathroom before we leave.” I heard Robbie yell through the call box. I ran over and pushed the button to let him in.
A few moments later there was knocking on my door, so I opened door to see Robbie doing a little dance. I laughed at him as he quickly moved by me and ran into the bathroom.
“What no hello before using my bathroom.” I couldn’t hold in the laughter.
Robbie had a unmistakable likeness to what many described as a ladies man. He looked a lot like a mix of Hollywood’s leading men, but he never thought of himself like that. He always described himself as a man of many talents and none should be over looked. He had encountered many different things in the last ten years since high school and was still attending college at his expense to continue his learning. He was the kind of person who wanted to know everything.
“Very funny Henry you know that I have bladder issues ever since I was in high school, and don’t laugh at me I’m the one who came all the way out here to get you since you wont get yourself a car.”
“Hey I wont bring your bladder issue up if you wont talk about my lack of wanting to drive.”
“Ok deal” Robbie said after opening the door to the bathroom.
“You better have washed your hands. I don’t want to find your germs all over my door handle.”
“Yes almighty Henry I have washed my hands so you don’t get my sick germs all over. Can we go now I really hate driving in the traffic and we are having to meet everyone else in Vancouver tonight.
“Yep I am ready lets get this done.” I said as we walked to the door and walked out. I was beginning to have a strange feeling things were about to change but I had other things on my mind.
………..
“Just can we wait a few more hours, he will come I know he will.” the little old lady said.
“I am sorry Millie but I can not wait any longer.” A woman in a cloak spoke.
“Reap I know that the schedule is not that busy can you just give her a little bit longer.” I stated.
“X, I know that Millie is someone important to you but I have to take her now or everything will be messed up and we wont be able to protect her.” Reap spoke.
“Its ok sweetheart I understand, I just wish that Henry would have come tonight. “
“I am sorry too Millie but it is your time, are you ready?” Reap spoke with a kindness in her voice.
I was upset that she was going to be departing without being able to finish that which she had wanted.
“I am ready to return to my family” Millie stated as she laid down on her bed and closed her eyes. Only a few seconds later I heard her take her last breath and then Reap reached out her hand and then a hand reached out from Millie’s body. I witnessed Millie’s soul leave the constrains of her old fragile body and stand next to Reap with a smile.
“Millie it is time for you to be taken home, X will protect and guide you home.”
“Thank you Reap for the time and love you have given me and I do know that X will take care of me.” She smiled and walked to my side.
“I am ready when you are Millie it should not take to much time.” I reached out my hand to hold hers and she took hold.
“I must go there are others who are needing to find peace, please be careful X they are out tonight wanting to cause havoc for those who are passing through.”
“I will Reap I have this under control. I have been doing this for quite some time.” I waved after her and she waved and a portal appeared before her she entered and exited.
“X, I know this may sound crazy but now that Reap has left I have a last request for you to feel. I do get one of those before my departure correct.”
“Of course I will try to fulfill what it is that you are wanting.” I said hoping what she would ask would be something simple and not something that would involve me breaking rules.

Chapter One The Past meets The Present
Preface
We are all given a chance at life and sometimes we mess up, but we are given the chance to make up our mistakes by continuing our lives not living in regret but by learning from those choices. We should never regret the choices we make for the fact that at those exact moments that is what we were wanting out of life.
I never knew that I would be given a second chance at finding someone who would open my heart and give me a chance to live my life the way I would have wanted to in the first place. I may be a protector of the world but I am also someone who has lived a life with plenty of mistakes that I will be accountable for in the end. I was always afraid of what death would bring my way but in this life we can not be afraid of Dancing with Death.

Why is your favorite animal the frog?
I am not sure why I am so attached to frogs I think it is cause the first story I really loved was the frog prince and I believed that one day I would find a frog kiss it and I would find someone for me and they are so cute I love them.
